GK; Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG, Italy
Donnarumma was impressive all tournament but peeked in the final after saving multiple penalty kicks to give Italy the win and the title.
LB; Joakim Maehle, Atalanta, Denmark
Maehle was a key contributor to Denmark’s shocking semi-final run. The LB was one of the best yet underrated players in the entire Euro 2020 tournament.
RB; Leonardo Spinazzola, Roma, Italy
Although Leonardo was carted off against Belgium in the quarterfinals he was still the best RB at the Euros. Spinazzola’s combination of tough defending as well as speed makes him a nightmare for opposing attackers.
CB; Giorgio Chiellini, Juventus, Italy
Yes another Italian Chiellini an experienced veteran made the Italian back three very scary.
CB; Leonardo Bonucci; Juventus, Italy
A FOURTH ITALIAN!? Well they won the tournament so it’s kinda hard to deny the centre back duo a spot on the list but along with the trophy they played phenomenal.
CM; Jorginho, Chelsea, Italy
Yet another Italian. Jorginho was all over the pitch and put on incredible performances every game including against Belgium when he completed 70 out of 71 passes. That number is insane and Jorginho deserves more respect.
CM; Emil Forsberg, RB Leipzig, Sweden
Forsberg was the one and only reason Sweden made it out of the group stage and he was nearly the reason they advanced to the quarter finals but unfortunately he hit the woodworks three times in the same game.
CM; Giorginio Wijnaldum, PSG, Netherlands
Wijnaldum was a monster in the midfield and probably would’ve gone farther into the tournament if it wasn’t for De Ligt’s clumsy red card bringing the Netherlands down to only ten men.
LW; Raheem Sterling, Manchester City, England
Sterling was most definitely England’s best player and their top goal scorer. While Sterling didn’t score and world class goals he scored good efficient shots which is all you can ask from an attacker.
ST; Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus, Portugal
Two words, Golden. Boot.
ST; Patrik Schik, Bayer Leverkusen,Czech Republic
Easily the best player on the Czech Republic team Schik scored a world class goal from the midway line against Scotland and put in many other stellar performances.
