In the basketball world there is a big debate. Who is the greatest of all time [G.O.A.T.]. Michael Jordan or Lebron James, or as they’re known in the basketball world, MJ or The King. It is the only argument you can bring up to get the calmest of James or Jordan fans to lash out. Jordan and James are both jaw-dropping athletes but only one is superior.
Throughout James’s career he has won three NBA Finals, three Final’s MVP’s, the Rookie of the Year award, and four MVP awards. Jordan won six NBA Finals, six Final’s MVP awards, the Rookie of the Year award, and five MVP awards. Sure Jordan has more accomplishments but James can beat Jordan in every other aspect.
From a statistical standpoint James beats Jordan in every way. Lebron James has dominated the league since his rookie year out of high school! Michael Jordan was a great rookie but he could not take over games like James could. James has more career points than Jordan, more career assists than Jordan, and more career rebounds than Jordan. Lebron had teammates like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis, and future hall of famer Dwayne Wade. Jordan on the other hand had one of the greatest defenders of all time in Dennis Rodman, Hall of famer Scottie Pippen, and perhaps the greatest three-point shooter of all time Steve Kerr. The Bulls didn’t even need Jordan, when Jordan left for baseball the Bulls made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals, and lost in game seven. When Lebron left the Heat they only won thirty-seven games, and when he left the Cavs for LA the Cavaliers only won nineteen games!
Michael Jordan was the best player from his generation. Lebron James is the most talented basketball player the world has ever seen.
